Father and son team, Captain Carl J Asman, Jr and Carl J Asman, III have been hunting trophy striped bass and other species for a combined 60 years. Both take pride in being personable, professional, and very knowledgeable about the local fishing grounds.

My early education on classic striped bass techniques was extensive, with countless hours spent on the water chasing large bass. During my mid twenties, my love of fishing brought me offshore to compete primarily in White Marlin tournaments and to seek out & harpoon large Swordfish. Now as Captain of the Main Event, I look forward to offering the same excitement I have felt over the years to new fishermen. I also hope to fulfill your dream of catching a fifty pound bass!

Much of my knowledge of the water and fishing comes from the many generations of successful fisherman in my family. My hands-on experience on the water goes back as far as I can remember… My love for offshore fishing is rivaled only by the excitement of fly fishing for striped bass.
